I ever knew personally,
though deliciously fuzzy,
preferred to bite --
not just me,
but preferably
computer cables --
almost as tasty
as carrots
and several times
more destructive.
Who knew
such sharp teeth
could thrive
in such a friendly face
with such soft ears?
